Gynecology Services (No Pregnancy or Surgical Care)
We offer exceptional care for every stage of a woman’s life. Bianca Chiara is an expert in helping you improve your health, whether that means prevention and wellness in your 20s, successfully navigating menopause in your 50s, or thriving in your 80s.
A Pap smear is a screening procedure conducted by Dr. Chiara in order to test for cervical cancer. The test detects the presence of precancerous or cancerous cells on the cervix, the opening of the uterus. The waiting time for results is usually a week or two.
Breast exams are a critical part of detecting breast cancer and are recommended every 1-3 years from ages 20-39 and every year from 40 and beyond. If the patients family has a strong history of breast cancer then Dr. Chiara may recommend having the exam done more frequently.
Birth control options are discussed between Biana Chiara, MD and her patients in order to determine the best option to meet their needs. As a women’s health clinic, Dr. Chiara is able to provide many different types of contraception to her patients which may include but is not limited to:
- Birth control pills
- Female Condoms

After moving here from my hometown I was very worried about finding a new doctor because I’d been going to my doctor since I was born. I was happy to finally find Dr. Chiara. She’s been my primary and my gyno for about 4 years now and she’s always been great with me. It’s pretty easy to get an appointment and she’s rarely running late. Since she’s also a gyno she gets the whole picture when you visit, from a woman’s standpoint. She listens well. If she isn’t able to diagnose you she’ll always give you a couple options in specialists for referral unlike most doctors who just say, “Go see this guy”. My only critique is that she isn’t up on some of the newer “designer” drugs, in my case Patanase, which was prescribed by an allergist she referred me to. Other than that, she’s prompt, thorough, has good bed side manners, and empathy.
